If one active user gives three feature requests and a bug report in just a few days, imagine how many rocks you can tear away with thousands of active users.

Thanks to feedback of the Balabol app creator, who has chosen the dictate-button component for adding voice input to his app, the component has become much better. One of the features he requested has been the ability to long press the button to start the recording and release the button to stop it (kind of walkie-talkie mode). This mode, for example, is very typical for messenger apps for exchanging audio and video messages.

I said “no problem” and included the long press support to the latest releases of the dictate-button component and the WordPress plugin.
